The Church car park is next to the church hall and additional roadside parking is available on The Causeway, opposite the St Peter's Road turning.
Club meetings provide a mixture of guest speakers, member's presentations, technical evenings, and social events. The annual programme is designed to provide variety to attract and interest members of mixed ages and abilities. The club's activities are published in the monthly club magazine "Barscom" which is free to members, and is distributed in electronic format.
The club actively supports external events including ROTA, MOTA, JOTA, and an annual summer camp. The club has also entered some of the RSGB contests with good results for a club of our size.
New technologies have been embraced with a DMR repeater being added to the existing club repeater GB3BZ.
The club's goal is to involve new and existing members in club activities, to broaden their knowledge and to get the maximum pleasure from the hobby.
Visitors and new members are always made welcome. For more details of club activities past, present, and future and how to join our club, please visit the other pages in the menu of our website, or contact our secretary at secretary@badars.co.uk.
